Just wanted to make a quick post outlining my new classes for May.
Outdoor Fitness Classes are where I started my fitness journey when I was sixteen. It was awesome to get outside and workout and in nature. The classes were held by GetFit Camps Lacombe (whom I still work with today, only now I’m the Trainer not the Trainee), we did everything from body weight work to tire flipping to long distance runs.
I have built my class format off the old format with a few changes along the way. Those of you who know me know that running is so not my strong suit, so there is very limited distance running. Body weight exercises are still the center and I toss in the odd tire flip to mix things up.
All that said, I am always happy to adapt my classes to anyone’s needs. If you don’t tire flip, no problem, we will find another exercise for you.
Spring 2017 Outdoor Fitness Classes
Monday & Wednesday 7:15pm-8:00pm
May 1st to May 31st (No Class May 22nd)
Tuesday & Thursday 9:00am-9:45am
May 2nd to June 1st
Classes take place on the Burman University Campus in Lacombe, weather permitting.
All fitness levels welcome. I have had questions about child care and unfortunately I do not have child care available.
